While I opted to hike Bells Canyon instead of Lake Blanche, it still was a beautiful Saturday morning.
And being that this was my first solo hike EVER, I think I faired well. I didn't know how much I'd enjoy hiking alone, but the choice to stop when I want, to go the pace that I want, and to stay as long as I want in the cool waterfall mist, proved to be bonuses.
And before anyone criticizes me for doing it solo, I opted for a busy trail with cell phone coverage. And besides, I made sure I wore an unforgettable t-shirt.
I may have to indulge in more of this alone time again soon.

Ooh you've inspired me. Sometimes I'm craving for a hike, but I have a hard time finding the perfect hiking partner.
Glad to hear that you were safe in your hiking! I am back- so let's go somewhere in Utah next week.... Love the shirt, BTW. Funny.
I don't think that I finished my thought--- let's go hiking next week (of course it will be in Utah- duh!).
