Dear Media,
All of this hype regarding this hog/pork/pig/swine flu has me thinking, how am I supposed to know when I am REALLY in danger? Because the way that you talk about everything could really make me fear for my life on a daily basis. My water could be contaminated. My neighbor could be a pedophile. My unborn children could be kidnapped and sold into the sex trade. The list is limitless.
Will there ever be a time when I can seriously take you seriously?

Did you know, that in the United States alone, over 800 people PER WEEK die of the regular, plain ol' flu. THAT IS STATISTICS FOR THIS YEAR!!! 800 people per week in the most medically developed country in the world are dropping from regular flu--but EXOTIC flu is making headlines on every single news source imaginable. Damn, we're bored.

I concur. I think the faceless "they" are using pig flu to distract us from something else. I'm just not sure what that what else is because I'm so wrapped up in the pig flu thing...
