I'm glad that the Earth got the memo. Today.
I'm more glad that Brandon suggested via gchat that we go on a trail run/hike this morning.
True, it meant that I showed up to record some lectures still in my running clothes, but given that it's only a voice recording, who cares?
Feeling that sun, despite the crispness in the air, was worth it. So totally worth it.
Brandon spent the first part of our run/hike, explaining to me the course for the Wahsatch Steeplechase (yes, with two "h's"), trying to persuade me that a total vertical gain and loss of approximately 9,000 feet over 17 miles was really no big deal and that I should (and could) run slog it.
I'm not sure I am convinced.
I am convinced, however, that I will miss this view.
